Summary

This is a full-time position that is responsible for handling new and used tubular products (steel or fiberglass pipes).  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and monitoring the movement of all pipeyard material, keeping written records, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Figuring for load-ins and load-outs.
  • Unloading tubular products from trucks, ensuring bundle and fit arrangements.
  • Servicing customers as needed.
  • Inventorying pipes and marking collars or couplings to indicate last count.
  • Performing general yard maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

  • Two to three (2-3) years of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license appropriate for the type of equipment to be operated.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements established by the Department of Transportation.
  • English language fluency, verbal and written.
  • Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.
