Tire Hand

This is a full-time position that is responsible for all stages of tire repair and light mechanic duties. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.

• All stages of tire repair; rotating, tubes and tubeless.
• Inventory of tires and repair supplies.
• Preventive maintenance.
• Light mechanic duties.
• Assisting mechanics and performing other duties as directed.
• Driving company vehicle or service truck to sites to provide services or respond to emergency calls.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• A high school diploma or equivalent education with three to six (3-6) months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with good Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and the ability to meet Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Ability to read words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• English language fluency, verbal and written.
• Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.
